Nicolas Mahler
Nicolas MahlerNicolas Mahler was born in 1969 in Vienna, Austria, where he resides to this day. As unique as he is prolific, Mahler's distinct minimalist style appears in Austrian, German, and Swiss newspapers and magazines. His comic series Flashko was adapted as a series of animated shorts, and his book Kratochvil was turned into a puppet-play by a Swiss troupe, and it is currently touring in Switzerland, Austria, and France. In addition, his work appears regularly in the anthologies Lapin (France), Galago (Sweden), Spoutnik (Canada), and Strapazin (Czech Republic). His previous work for Top Shelf includes the feature-length story "TNT," which appeared in the anthology Top Shelf Asks the Big Questions, as well as his monster parody/homage graphic novel, Van Helsing's Night Off.
