Willow Dawson

Willow Dawson grew up in Vancouver BC in a little house a few blocks away from the ocean. She now resides in Toronto ON in an old house filled with books and small things that remind her of home. Willow is the creator of the graphic novels Hyena in Petticoats: The Story of Suffragette Nellie McClung (Puffin Canada) and Lila and Ecco's Do-It-Yourself Comics Club (Kids Can Press). She also illustrated No Girls Allowed (Kids Can Press) and Violet Miranda: Girl Pirate (Kiss Machine Presents). Willow is currently in development of a full-length version of 100 Mile House thanks to the generous support of the Toronto Arts Council and the Ontario Arts Council.
