Phil Witte is an author and cartoonist. His humor book What You Don’t Know About Turning 50 and the sequel on turning 60 have sold nearly 100,000 copies to date. Phil's cartoons have been published in the San Francisco Chronicle, Commonweal, Z, Prospect (U.K.), San Francisco Psychologist, and many other online and print magazines, and are featured in books and calendars. He also collaborates as a writer for other cartoonists. His articles have appeared in the Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, San Francisco Examiner, California Lawyer, and other publications.
