Stephen McCranie is a cartoonist who lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is currently working on his first graphic novel, an adventure story in the spirit of Calvin and Hobbes, Tintin and Doraemon about a boy genius named Mal and his talking dog Chad. Mal and Chad originally began as a newspaper comic strip which can be read in its entirety at www.malandchad.com.
